This 2-Act rollicking, tour de force tribute to the late, great folksinger, social activist, environmentalist, and global citizen, Pete Seeger (adapted from Seeger’s 1972 ‘autobiography) imagines a concert ‘somewhere on the road, 1970’ wherein the book comes to life through verbatim theatre, storytelling and all or part of 29 songs. Spanning 35 years and traversing the globe, Seeger invites the audience to sing along at every turn, transforming the event into a living example of what Seeger called ‘The Power of Song’. “Participation. That’s what’s gonna save the human race.” (P.S.)
